Laboratory Supervisor

We are currently on the lookout for a technically experienced, customer and people focused Laboratory Supervisor to lead our high performing, close-knit production team in our Auckland site. The Laboratory supervisor will be responsible for supporting the Precision Dental Laboratory operations function including production workflow (coordination, allocation and organisation), service and product delivery, providing technical support to Technicians and customers and mentoring of production staff.

About this role

  • Provide technical support to our customers and group of Technicians.
  • People Management – mentor, coach and development of the team.
  • Oversee production workflow – coordination, allocation and organisation
  • General Laboratory Operations – maintain efficient and professional laboratory operations and find new and better ways of working to improve service and product delivery.

Dental Technician - Ceramic Finisher

Working in our ceramic and metal department working on all dental restorations from fit, stain and glaze to full metal crowns/frameworks. Being a team player in working in other areas of the laboratory to ensure best workflow and production outcomes for our customers. CAD scan/design, acrylic, model work, CAM and metal/glass work. Assisting our customer and team mates on technical customer service to ensure we are giving our customers the best possible outcomes for their patients. Ensuring our laboratory is running smoothly with stock management, quality control and machine/equipment maintenance.

About this role

  • 3 to 4 years working experience as a Dental Technician in a crown and bridge laboratory.
  • Comfortable working both independently and with others to ensure work is delivered on time and to the best standard of quality.
  • Reliable, proactive with great time management skills to respond to changing needs.
  • Enjoys working in a team environment, supporting others and our customers.
